Mt. Hope Lutheran Church holds the mortgage of originally $470,000.00 for our center that we built in 2020. CADC will always lease the building for an amount that covers only the mortgage and building maintenance. Mt. Hope will not charge CADC additional fees to make a profit, so as the mortgage is paid down CADC will see a decrease in the monthly lease costs until eventually the mortgage is paid off and the only remaining lease cost will be for building maintenance.

 

Mt. Hope had received an anonymous dollar-for-dollar Matching Gift of $15,000 toward the mortgage. Through Mt. Hope’s members' donations and several from our families here at CADC we were able to raise $17,819.00 bringing the Matching Gift total to $32,819.00. 

 

Through additional donations by Mt. Hope’s congregation members and memorial service donations in memory of Steve Koch and Paul Musselman we have managed to bring the balance down even more. 

 

Our current balance is just over $207,000.00. I am very excited and grateful to announce that a donation was made in memory of Steve Koch for $100,000.00 to Pay Down the Mortgage. This gift is beyond generous and CADC can’t possibly thank the donors enough! All of CADC, our current and future families, and community will continue to benefit for years to come thanks to your generosity and support of CADC!
